Where available UK Computing use and supply low energy hardware and reutilise hardware components where possible, thus reducing energy usage for our clients and waste. We actively promote the use of Microsoft Hyper-V technologies where two or more servers are required in an organisation, this allows for a single piece of hardware to host multiple servers thus greatly reducing power consumption.

Equipment that has passed its useful life is disposed off via a partner organisation, providing Certified Waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) disposal, we are happy to arrange this economic service for any of our clients.

Through the utilisation of secure remote support and management tools our organisation has greatly reduced the need to travel to clients sites.  This has a two fold effect, reduced response times and more importantly reduced carbon emissions.  You the client benefits as does the environment!
