Domain Names

To allow the public access to your website you will need
a domain name. This is essentially the name given to your webserver to be used
in your website and email addresses, For example, in the following web address
- www.ukcomputingltd.co.uk – ‘ukcomputingltd.co.uk’ is the domain name.

You can have as many domain names as you feel appropriate
and point them to the same website, and indeed many of our customers purchase many
different permutations ending with .co.uk .com .net to avoid confusion or stop
someone else stealing your brand.

The actual costs of domains are relatively cheap usually
based on 1 or 2 years rental, but can be purchased for up to 10 years.
